Atheist Reasoning

Atheists trying to reason would be funny if it weren’t so sad. They try to reason when they have no basis for reason because of the Münchhausen trilemma. They can’t have true premises, because their premises must be based on unsupported assertions of some sort. So, they just make assertions, pulled from the air, and use tricks to claim that they’re true. Vehemence and nested fallacies can’t make anything true, so they are sunk when it comes to reasoning.

As a thorn goeth up into the hand of a drunkard, so is a parable in the mouth of fools.” Proverbs 26:9

God’s Mind

God’s mind doesn’t conform to any natural human thinking. That’s why Atheists hate Him so much.

Can Secularists Reply?

Secularists can always reply to anything that challenges their worldviews. They just have to pull their responses out of the air. There is no way that a Secularist can get to a true premise for any conclusion because of the Münchhausen trilemma. The only way that a premise can be true is through Divine revelation–and Secularists deny Divine revelation based on reasons that they pull out of the air.

Fake Reality Without Christ

Every person who follows Christ is led and taught by Christ moment by moment. It has to do with a personal relationship. If you are trying to fit this into your worldview, a worldview without God in which every thought must be based on made-up stuff, this won’t seem to make sense. However, a worldview isn’t part of reality. It is conceptual only. It is a fake reality that seems more real than real reality.

Are You Sure?

Christian: We could certainly say that no one, while on his or her death bed, has ever regretted following Christ.

Atheist: Are you sure?

Christian: I’m sure. This is what Christ tells me, and He can’t lie. In fact, Michael, no one can be certain about anything except by Divine revelation. Faith is an imparted certainty that comes when Christ speaks. God says, “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the utterance/rhema of God.”

Do you know Christ personally?

This is a question from a skeptic. Here’s the answer:

I do know Christ personally. He guides and directs my life. I have a carnal mind just like you do; however that carnal mind is not me. I am the Christ who lives in me. I’m in the process of dying to myself, to my carnal mind. If this sounds strange, get a Bible and ask God to reveal Himself to you as you read. He’ll begin to explain this to you if you are sincere, respectful, and persistent. Who knows, you may even humble yourself to the point where you ask Christ to forgive your sins and to begin the same process of leading and changing you. Then, you will know Christ personally.

Anyone Can Hear From Jesus

Anyone can hear from Jesus. Everyone who is following Jesus Christ is led and taught by Christ moment by moment. Anyone can enter into this experience by following a few simple steps. Sincerity is necessary. Persistence is usually necessary simply because of the deceptive nature of the human mind. Yet the steps are simple. Ask Jesus to pardon you for your hardheartedness (closed-mindedness) and for all the times you have done things He never asked you to do and all the times you haven’t done things He asked you to do. Then, ask Jesus to rule over your life as Lord and Savior. Ask Him to lead you into righteousness and holiness. Ask Him to set you free from your sinful nature. When He begins to lead you, whether through a Christian or by gently speaking His words into your mind, respond in submission, reverence, and obedience. He’ll lead you into doing right things. Then, He’ll do His works through you if you’ll allow it. That’s what grace is all about. His grace does the works. Your part is to yield yourself to His Spirit. As you continue to yield, you’ll find that His Voice becomes more clear. And you’ll become more like Him as you mature spiritually.

Which Theory of Origins is Correct?

Theories are stories. They are attempts to explain observations–to go beyond what is known. Whenever anyone goes beyond what is known, they are in a land of fantasy. Divine revelation is different from this. God has reveals that He created the Heavens, Earth, seas, and everything in them is six days ending with the creation of Adam from the dust on day six. He also reveals that there were about 6,000 years between Adam and today. Nothing that God reveals through His Creation (scientific observation) conflicts with that. God speaks through His Creation confirming what He is saying through Scripture. Going beyond what God is saying and going into fantasy land is sin. If anyone adds to God’s Words, whether it’s what He’s saying through Creation or the Bible, God will show that person to be a liar.

Occam’s Razor

Secularist: My view can be defended by Occam’s razor. Believing in God requires more assumptions than just assuming that our senses can give us information about the real world, and that we can reason. The laws of logic is a description of reality.

Christian: What makes you think that believing in God requires more assumptions than just assuming that our senses can give us information about the real world and that we can reason? What makes you think that the laws of logic are a description of reality?

Christian: Hmmm. You were posting so quickly, and now it’s been about 12 hours. I suppose this is because I questioned a couple of your unsupported assertions, and you suddenly realized something.

Christian: Let me help you. Believing in God requires zero assumptions. God speaks. Whoever will hear His Voice and acknowledge Him receives faith. Faith is Divine certainty, and its not self-generated. It’s the gift of God lest anyone should boast. Divine revelation is a sovereign impartation. All that we, as humans, do is to not reject it. The reason people reject it is that they don’t want to be directed by God.

Assuming that our senses can give us information about the real world and that we can reason is not the issue. God does reveal things to us through our senses. Our senses are somewhat fickle and really constrained by the filters of our worldviews. He is also willing to reveal the interpretations of those things to us. This is one way we can reason. However, when we use our worldviews (Christian or anti-Christ) to interpret, we add to whatever we observe or we filter out things that we observe through this type of reasoning. The interpretation is the conclusion of logic. If we add to the premise of logic in the process of reasoning, the conclusion is non sequitur. It doesn’t follow from the premise. Since most of this reasoning is going on outside of the consciousness, we have trouble thinking about our own thinking in a critical way. That’s why every person’s own way is right in his or her own eyes.

The laws of logic require a true premise. Secularism can never have a true premise. Secularism must self-generate the premise by interpreting something (observation or imagination). This self-generate interpretation is based on assumptions, so the premise is either false or unknown.
