Speculation

I try to stay away from speculation. All theories require speculation. I know that what God is revealing is all that we need, and I know that speculation cannot produce anything but delusion. So, I know that God created the Heavens and the Earth and the Seas and everything in them in six days, creating Adam from the dust on the sixth day. To know more than God says is impossible. God speaks through Scripture and Creation, but we are not to add to His words lest He show us to be liars. That means that assumptions and other kinds of made-up stuff are useless. It also calls for a close walk with God in which we learn to hear His Voice and have discernment between our own minds and the mind of Christ.

Morality

Without Divine revelation, morality is just an opinion. In fact, without Divine revelation, everything is just an opinion. It’s amazing that some people don’t understand this.

They Know

Dogmatic skeptics will do anything to sear their consciences against God. Yet, they know He exists, so they’re without excuse. Since they have no way to reason without fallacies, we shouldn’t be surprised when they commit fallacies. (Münchausen trilemma)

Judgment

God has one way that He allows humans to judge themselves and others. By the Holy Spirit, each of us is able to discern good and evil, choosing the good. We can and do know. The Holy Spirit is able to bring us to repentance (a new mind). The battle is for the mind. This is how anyone can be born again. This is the process by which each born-again person can overcome the sinful nature–by the Holy Spirit. When dealing with others, the Holy Spirit may lead us to deliver each other from sin through comfort, building up in Christ, teaching, admonition, or encouragement (exhortation). This form of judgement, whether concerning self or others, is for deliverance from the sinful human nature.

The fallen human nature loves to judge others. It even likes to condemn itself sometimes. This is because the self is sold into sin. (Romans 7:14) Satan is the king of the fleshly nature. He is the accuser. The fleshly nature loves to accuse. It loves to compare and cause divisions. (2 Corinthians 10:12)

However, we have been bought with the price of the blood of Jesus Christ. If we will receive it, we are not only pardoned, but Christ is imparted to us. (Romans 8:10, Romans 8:18, 2 Corinthians 4:6-7, Galatians 1:15-16, Galatians 2:20, Galatians 4:19, Ephesians 3:17, Colossians 1:27, 2 Thessalonians 1:10, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 1 John 4:2-3, 2 John 1:7) We all have a fallen human nature. There is no one who isn’t tempted, drawn away by his or her own fleshly desires. (James 1:14) The fallen human nature can’t be reformed. It can’t do any righteousness at all. Any self-generated righteousness is as filthy rags. The Christ in us cannot do any sin. He is holy and incapable of sin. (1 John 3:9)

When we judge each other or our own selves in a fleshly way, we are judging Christ in us. We are failing to discern the Body of Christ. In the process of walking with Christ, He is being formed in us. This is a process of building up. King James Version calls it “edification.” From here forward, we are to know ourselves and each other after the spirit and not after the fleshly nature. (2 Corinthians 5:16)

Made-up Stories versus Divine Revelation

In spite of the odds against Evolutionism, an Evolutionist is still able to make up stories that explain how everything we see now came into being without the Almighty God Who created all things. When it comes to the details, they can just say, “We don’t fully understand that yet, but science will show us how that happened.” The human mind can rationalize anything. Yet, God is real. Everyone who follows Christ knows that because they know Him.

Fake Reality Without Christ

Every person who follows Christ is led and taught by Christ moment by moment. It has to do with a personal relationship. If you are trying to fit this into your worldview, a worldview without God in which every thought must be based on made-up stuff, this won’t seem to make sense. However, a worldview isn’t part of reality. It is conceptual only. It is a fake reality that seems more real than real reality.

Christians Thinking Like Secularists

Sometimes, Christians become confident of their own ability to reason and they lose touch with Christ. Since reasoning without Divine revelation from Jesus Christ must be based on assumptions, nothing can be known by reasoning without Divine revelation from Jesus Christ. That’s the problem with a lot of theology–it’s rationalized rather than revealed. God speaks through the Bible, but God says, through the Bible, that He speaks through other means as well. In fact, the reason that we know that the Bible is the Word of God without error is because this fact is revealed to us by the Spirit of Christ.
