A slave is redeemed from slavery. You were a slave to sin. You still act as a slave if you live according to your fleshly nature. Your fleshly nature is a slave to sin. Your fleshly nature can’t do anything right. God is setting you free. When He’s finished, God will fully redeem you and set you free from sin and the sinful nature of your flesh. He’ll set you free from the demonic principalities and powers that have been your slave masters. God will even redeem your body.

You won’t always be stuck in this situation of the fleshly nature sinning. Even though you HAVE a sinful nature, you are NOT that sinful nature. You are the ministry within. The ministry within you is Christ in you. That’s who you ARE.
