Important! The enemy of your soul will return to reclaim you and destroy you. Many Christians falter at this point. They live in self-condemnation, shame, or defeat. That’s unnecessary. They have the victory. You have the victory already. When you prayed the prayer of faith, God gave you a vision of hope and deliverance. Your faith was suddenly accompanied by a sense of relief, victory, thankfulness to God, and worship. That was real, and it remains real.

When the enemy comes to tempt you, the Holy Spirit will also remind you of God’s promise. You will know Christ has set you free. You will know you walk in glorious liberty. The Holy Spirit will remind you of that sense of relief, victory, thankfulness to God, and worship. And the Holy Spirit will offer it to you again for the moment of temptation or doubt. Sin and sickness no longer have power over you. Look for it. You will find it. In the glow of that revelation, the enemy has nothing in you. You are free. When you turn to the Lord, the enemy has no power over you. If you turn toward the enemy and listen to him, you won’t be able to turn to the Lord. The choice is yours every time.
