God’s hope is absolute and solid. When you see the body of Christ, you see it as the fulfilled body. You see every member as the Christ within Who cannot sin. As you look into this mirror at the glory of the body of Christ as it ought to be, you’re transfigured into the image and likeness of the living Christ.
If you doubt God and what God says, you see the flesh in yourself. And you see the flesh in other members of the body of Christ. Maybe you see yourself and the people you like as good, but you see the fleshly nature in the people you don’t like. As you look at the flesh, you become fleshly. You become what you stare at.
You have and are a ministry in this body of Christ. Your ministry is Christ in you. Your ministry has nothing to do with your flesh. You are a living stone in God’s temple. God is forming you into the member of His body He created you to be. As you look into God’s spiritual mirror of hope, you see who you are in Christ and how you fit into the body of Christ. You see your brothers and sisters after the spirit and not after the flesh. You need to discern the body of Christ. You need to recognize the ministries of your brothers and sisters. You’re standing in the presence of Christ when you’re in their presence.
