And yet, if a Christian is a follower of Christ, the act of following implies that He’s leading us. And we know that all people hear God’s voice as He reveals Himself to them in various ways. However, it may be more accurate to say that we often disregard His voice because we don’t like the righteousness and death of the fleshly nature into which He is leading us. It may also be that we don’t want to admit our dependence on Him. We may have pride in our own abilities.
