If we fail to honor Christ, we slowly lose the ability to know the difference between our own deceitful and wicked minds and the mind of Christ. For when we follow Him, the things of earth become strangely dim to us in the light of His glory and grace. But if we don’t follow Christ, the voice of Christ becomes strangely dim to us, and the things of earth fill our vision. By the way, many of the things of earth are religious.
