Sin: Stepping or slipping off God’s path.
In plain English,
sin is doing what you want to do instead of what God wants you to do.
God is love, so sin is anything that isn’t love.

God set Adam and Eve over His whole creation. When they obeyed and became servants of Satan, Satan became ruler over everything else. Death and destruction rippled through the animals, plants, rocks, mountains, and stars. Creation fell into Satan’s hands. And yet, God doesn’t allow Satan to do anything he wants. Many slaves don’t know they are slaves. Some Christians even willingly remain in slavery after coming to Christ. They serve Satan gladly. Satan tells them they are free, and they believe the lie.
