God will open the door to talk about Jesus

If you are full of God’s Spirit, God will open the door to talk about Jesus. Always let God’s glory flow through you and flow out from you. His glory is full of love and peace. As the conversation goes, you may find that you’re talking to a person who needs Jesus. Always be respectful and non-coercive. Don’t preach at people, but let the conversation flow and look for God to open a door to talk about Jesus. In general, you will probably talk about these subjects:

The Problem of Sin:

Would you consider yourself to be a good person?
Do you think you’ve kept the 10 Commandments?
If God were to judge you by the 10 Commandments, would you be guilty or innocent?
Would you go to heaven of hell?

Concern:

If they admit they are bound for hell, ask: “Does this concern you?”

Cross and Resurrection:

Share how Jesus died on the cross to pay the debt of our sins and rose again to give us eternal life. He is the only way. (1 Corinthians 15:3b-4, John 14:6)

He Pays the Debt IF They Do the Following:

admit their sin
repent of their sins
believe and receive Christ as their Savior from sin and the sinful nature

(Acts 3:19, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9)

What’s Next?

They are now new babies in Christ.
They need to grow up in Christ.
Explain how to spend time listening to God and standing in His presence.
This includes prayer and developing a personal relationship with God.
Talk to them about reading the Bible daily, coming to church, and telling others about Christ.
