This Path will cost you dearly. It’s the Path of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, and faith. Love will cost you all your hate and fear. Joy will cost you all your depression and self-pity. Patience will cost you all your impatience. Kindness will cost you all your cruelty. Goodness will cost you all your bad habits and evil. Faith will cost you all your doubts and false assumptions. Who wants that nonsense anyway?

God has great plans for you. His plans are beyond what you could ever imagine. He will give you blessings beyond what you could ask for or even think about. And He’s revealed exactly how you can enter into His coming blessings. God has given you a simple Path to freedom. He spelled it out in Scripture. Faith is Evidence

In volumes one and two of Real Faith & Reason, we stated faith is absolutely certain proof as opposed to the wishy-washy evidence of science, math, or philosophy that doesn’t really prove anything. Faith doesn’t merely suggest that something is true. Real faith is undeniably assured substantiation.

Faith is the substance (hupostasis) of things hoped for. It’s the title-deed that guarantees whatever God agreed to when He spoke to us. Faith, that title-deed, came by hearing God speak. It conveyed real property to us when God spoke. The faith that comes when God speaks has actual existence. It’s a substance. And it contains within itself steadfastness of mind, firmness, courage, resolution, confidence, firm trust, and assurance.
