Dogmatic skeptics will do anything to sear their consciences against God. Yet, they know He exists, so they’re without excuse. Since they have no way to reason without fallacies, we shouldn’t be surprised when they commit fallacies. (Münchausen trilemma)
Ungodly Counsel
When Christians take to heart ungodly counsel, they begin to have more trouble discerning the leading of God. Then, human interpretations of Scripture creep in, and a downward spiral begins. Unfortunately, there is a lot of ungodly counsel from the “news,” from schools, from movies, from TV shows, from music, from museums, from parks, and from other false prophets.
When something is taken to heart, it’s added to the inner worldview of the person. Sometimes, conflicts arise in worldviews. This is neurotic. It’s known as internal inconsistency, and internal inconsistencies often persist for a lifetime. When God speaks, faith comes. Faith is certain, and is always based on what God is saying. At the same time, the inner worldview is giving a vision. Then decisions have to be made. Will you lean on your own understanding or acknowledge the utterance of God? Whichever you decide to follow becomes your master.
Darkness for Light
Here are the rules. The people who love evil can do evil. If you call that evil “evil” in a general statement, then those who love evil will search for something that is wrong with you personally. When they find something, they will become very judgmental and moralistic. Message control is everything to them. That’s because they love darkness and hate light. “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20

Division
Divisions in the Church are caused any time we go beyond what God is saying. The human mind seems to automatically fill in the blanks and make assumptions that add to Scripture, but the Holy Spirit will guide and teach us if we stand in His Presence.
Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. John 17:20-21
When we consider that Secularists are limited to claims based on assumptions just because they deny Divine revelation and refuse to listen to God, we realize that we, as Christians, are also limited whenever we add to (or take from) what God says. We are so good at rationalizing away certain portions of Scripture or going beyond what it said. Often, translations of the Bible (including KJV) make decisions that blur the meanings of words. However, we have the original text, and more importantly, we have the Holy Spirit to lead us.
And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: but their minds were closed. For to this day, at the reading of the old covenant, the same veil remains; it is not lifted, because it is set aside only in Christ. 2 Corinthians 3:13-14
Pride and dogmatism are a huge problem in the Church. Only the Holy Spirit can solve this. The Church will be joined together and brought into God’s pattern by the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. He alone will We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5
Made-up Stories versus Divine Revelation
In spite of the odds against Evolutionism, an Evolutionist is still able to make up stories that explain how everything we see now came into being without the Almighty God Who created all things. When it comes to the details, they can just say, “We don’t fully understand that yet, but science will show us how that happened.” The human mind can rationalize anything. Yet, God is real. Everyone who follows Christ knows that because they know Him.
