Jesus said, “Depart from Me you workers of iniquity. I never knew you.”
And it goes deeper than that. Jesus is talking about knowing in the sense of creating New Life together.

They never listened to His leading and teaching. They never yielded to His Spirit. He said, “Depart from Me you workers of iniquity. I never knew you.” And it goes deeper than that. Jesus is talking about knowing in the sense of creating New Life together. When He said, “I never knew you,” Jesus used the word “knew;” Jesus used the same word the Bible uses when speaking of a husband and wife having children. God wants a deep relationship with you. He wants to know you intimately and create New Life.

Righteousness is Necessary

Be doers of the word (Christ in you leading you), and not hearers only. Otherwise, you are deceiving yourselves. . . . Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. ~ James 1:22 & 2:17
