Faith comes when God leads and shows you who you are in Christ. Jesus authors faith in you, which leads to grace.

You see who you are in Christ and what Christ is commanding you to do right now. That’s when faith comes and gives you access to grace so you can do what God commands you to do.

You see those around you. For those who are born again, you see them after the Spirit. You see Christ in them. You see who you are in Christ and what Christ is commanding you to do right now. That’s when faith comes and gives you access to grace so you can do what God commands you to do. When you yield to the point of obedience, the Holy Spirit transforms you. The Holy Spirit peels off one layer of that fleshly veil and builds Christ in you more fully.

If you see other Christians or yourself as the fleshly nature, you fill your mind with the things of the fleshly nature. If you see other Christians and yourself as the spiritual nature, you fill your mind with the things of the spiritual nature. If you fill your mind with the fleshly nature, you create death in your entire being. If you fill your mind with the spiritual nature, Christ creates Life in your entire being. If you fill your mind with Christ, you stay connected to Christ. Then, Life and peace spring up in you. You see Christ within yourself and others and you become what you see. When you see Jesus Christ as He is, a many-membered body on earth joined to the Head in heaven, you become like Him. Why do you become like Him? You’re changed because you fill your mind with the Spirit of Christ Who reigns in righteousness over your mind.

Fitting into Christ’s Body

The Kingdom of God isn’t an individual effort, but God is chiseling you and shaping you to be a stone in His Temple. Holiness is Christ formed within. You become the part of the body of Christ God created you to be. As a member of the body of Christ, you would be irrelevant if you weren’t in your place in the body of Christ. You wouldn’t be walking in obedience to the Spirit of Christ if you weren’t in your place in the body of Christ. Just as a finger becomes useless if it’s cut from the body, so you must know how you fit into Christ’s body. Just as a shoulder out of joint causes pain, you must know how you fit into Christ’s body.

God reveals the pattern of the body of Christ through Scripture. He speaks of it throughout the Bible. He also speaks to you about disorders. You see disorders in the body of Christ and you know by intuition those disorders aren’t what God has in mind for His body. God points them out to you. At other times, you see something you know is right and good and according to God’s plan. The Holy Spirit will continue to refine your spiritual senses as you walk with Him into maturity. You’ll more easily know the difference between good and evil as you continue to follow the Truth up the Pathway toward the Life. The deceivers will find it harder to deceive you.
