God creates a clean heart in you the same way He created the heavens and the earth. He uses the same term for both creations.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. ~ Genesis 1:1

Create in me a clean heart. ~ Psalm 51:10a

The Bible uses the same Hebrew term for creating in both verses.

How did God create the heavens and the earth? He spoke and it was. Nothing was created without the Logos of God. Jesus Christ is the Logos, the Rhema, the utterance of God. God speaks, and it is.

What’s the difference between God creating the heavens and the earth in the beginning and God creating a clean heart in you? In the beginning, the creation couldn’t say, “No.” You can say, “No.” Now, God is looking for those who will listen to Him and yield to Him willingly. God is looking for you to listen to Him and yield to Him willingly.
