God is transforming us into the image of Christ. We will be one with the Father.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren” (Romans 8:28-29 KJV).

What is the image of Christ? This isn’t a little change. We will completely submit to the Father, always listening to His leading and moving as He directs us. We will only say the words He says through us. We will only do the acts He does through us. Our thoughts will be pure. The rebellious sinful nature will have vanished from existence. Disease, pain, fear, and sorrow will have ceased. God will delegate total authority and power to us. God will set us with the responsibility to rule and reign with Him. With the fleshly nature removed, the glory of Christ will shine out of us. We’re called to greater works than Christ did on earth.
