By the way, I’m working on a new book about how to talk about Jesus without getting into arguments.
God sowed His good Seed, but something happened. God spoke His Word and faith came, but the faith never bore any fruit. God sowed the Seed, but the Seed landed on hard ground, the trampled path, or the thorns.
(Quote from https://realreality.org/downloads/how-god-will-transform-you/)
God sowed His good Seed, but something happened. God spoke His Word and faith came, but the faith never bore any fruit. God sowed the Seed, but the Seed landed on hard ground, the trampled path, or the thorns.
For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man, as an offering for sin. He thus condemned sin in the flesh, so that the righteous standard of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. ~ Romans 8:3-4
God is fulfilling the righteous standard of the Law in you. God is doing and completing the righteous standard of His Law in you. You aren’t trying to do righteousness by the power and authority of your own efforts. You aren’t trying to establish your own righteousness. You’re walking in the Spirit. Walking in the Spirit follows the same pattern. The Spirit leads you. As you listen and respect God, He imparts His faith to you and His faith gives you an entrance into the power of God’s grace, which does God’s works through you. Faith doesn’t come to those who don’t listen to God with deep respect. It doesn’t come to those who refuse to honor God, thank Him, and acknowledge Him. People like that float along on a powerless make-believe faith.
