Jesus never said His own words. He always said the words of the Father. You come into spiritual maturity by allowing Jesus to speak His words through you. Jesus never did His own works. He always did the works of the Father. You come into spiritual maturity by allowing Jesus to do His works through you. That’s how you abide in the words of Christ.

Christ is also your holiness. Righteousness is Christ doing His works through you in the moment. Holiness is what you are becoming in Christ. Christ is the Holy One in you. Holiness is Christ formed in you and the rebellious, carnal nature gone.
