The Word is God speaking to you. And the Word is God. The Seed is God. God is blessing you with His Spirit and His Word. The Seed is God’s leading, teaching, and correcting. Jesus is this Word from God. However, the Seed must find a willing, submissive heart.
You must prepare your heart. Will the Seed fall in the pathway where all the messages of the culture trample and overpower God’s Seed? Will the Seed fall on a stony heart that can’t sustain the Seed of God because it’s hardened against God? Will the Seed fall among the thorns where worries, cares, riches, and pleasures choke it? Or will the Seed fall on good ground prepared by prayer and seeking the Lord?
