The trouble is that ungodly thinkers have no way to reason rationally beyond what they can observe, measure, and test. Not only that, but when an unbeliever repeatedly and consistently refuses to turn to Christ, God eventually takes His hand off that unbeliever, and the unbeliever walks into greater darkness and confusion.
