You can’t sweep evil thoughts out of your mind any more than you can sweep darkness out of a room.

You know about thoughts that creep in, thoughts the Holy Spirit brings to your attention.

You know about some of your strongholds. You know about thoughts that creep in, thoughts the Holy Spirit brings to your attention. You don’t want to entertain those thoughts, but you can’t sweep them out. You know your thoughts. I know mine. The more you try to NOT think about them the more you think about them. They keep popping up.

Turn on the Light. The Light is Jesus Christ. He has equipped you, and He will equip you more. He gave you spiritual weapons. One weapon is seeking God. Another is prayer. When the arguments and presumptions of the world creep in, look toward Jesus. Ask Him to help you. He will tear the strongholds down. He’ll answer the lies. He’ll give you power to destroy those evil strongholds and thoughts that come from them. Stand in Christ’s presence. His Light will surround you. The more you seek Christ, the closer you stand to Him. The closer you stand to Christ, the more His Light shines in you. The more Christ’s Light shines in you, the less darkness can survive in His presence. Turn on the Light.
