The word “manifestation” is “apokalupsis” in Greek, and it speaks of removing the fleshly veil. This isn’t an event that just happens for no reason. The Holy Spirit has been leading us toward this event for decades. We grow into it. As we allow the Holy Spirit to lead us, we come to maturity. The fleshly nature dies away while the Holy Spirit forms Christ in us until we come to the complete manifestation.
“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the Glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God” (Romans 8:18-19 KJV).
